Welcome to the Barby Pre-School Website
We are one of a few accredited schools in the Daventry and Rugby area. We have recently been re-accredited by the PLA. We are registered with Ofsted.
Ofsted is appointed by the Government and is responsible for the regular inspection of schools, nurseries and interviewing staff.
A copy of the last Ofsted inspection of Barby Pre-School is available to read on request.
Our Setting Aims are to:
Provide high quality care and education for children primarily below statutory school age.
Work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop.
Contribute to the life and well-being of the local community.
Offer children and their parents/carers a service that promotes equality and values diversity.

| What We Have To Offer:
Barby Pre-School currently offers places for 25 children.
The children are cared for by qualified staff. We maintain a ratio of adults to children in the Setting which is one adult to seven children over three, one adult to four children under three. In addition, we also have volunteer parent helpers when appropriate to complement these ratios.
Opening Hours:
Monday: from 9.15am to 11.45am and from 12.30pm to 3.00pm
With an option for children to stay for lunch until 12.30pm*
Tuesday: from 9.15am to 11.45am
With an option for children to stay for lunch until 12.30pm*
Wednesday: from 9.15am to 11.45am
Thursday: from 9.15am to 11.45am and from 12.30pm to 3.00pm
With an option for children to stay for lunch until 12.30pm*
Friday: from 9.15am to 11.45am
*Children bring their own packed lunch for this session. |
